Interview: Josh Price
- 8 June 2021
Part 9 of our short interview series is with our first ever shop team rider, Ilkeston native, Josh Price. Josh is also the frontman of the band LNC, which are currently killing it with regular features on BBC Radio. I’ve had the pleasure of doing a couple of Barcelona trips with Josh, and he’s a true skate rat through and through.
What are you currently working on?
Currently me and the Bois are working on a little iPhone edit, nothing special just something to try and keep us all together and skating new spots.
Favourite skate related possession?
It’s gotta be that thunder bum tickler I picked up from Bonafide?😂 No, I’m joking how could I love anything more than the actual skateboard itself.
Something about you that is not related to skateboarding that people might not know?
I am in a band called LNC.
What did you do yesterday?
Yesterday I fitted two huge windows at work then went for a skate and had a Shepherd’s pie for tea.
Favourite period in skate history that isn’t right now?
It’s 100% the few years when Nottingham DIY was about, the place was an absolute wonderland and I was gutted when they knocked it down.
Favourite skate spot of all time past or present?
My favourite spot has to be Snienton Market, there’s so much to skate and progress too and there’s something for everyone, plus if you’re not feeling it you can just chill with a tinnie and watch the locals make everyone else look like beginners.
What’s next in skateboarding?
Next in skating for me has got to be a trip somewhere, when we can a Barca or Mallorca trip has to be done I need that Spanish heat.
